Aviation Security

The term aviation security, with focus on the field of civil aviation, refers to the defence of external risks. Those external risks are in particular aircraft hijacking, acts of sabotage and others, e.g. terrorist attacks.

In the english linguistic usage the distinction is easier: within the aviation the term security stands for aviation security, whereas the term safety points to operational and technical risks. In Germany, the measures for aviation security are controlled by federal law. Until January 2005 corresponding paragraphs were included in the Air Traffic Act (LuftVG). By January 15, 2005 a more special Aviation Security Act has become valid (LuftSiG).

We prepare our participants for their employment as aviation security personnel. Critical situations can be simulated realistically with our technical equipment in the training centres of the ASW Academy of Security and Economy GmbH.

….Further Education

In accordance with §3 paragraph 5 the aviation saftey training ordinance obliges aerodrome operators, air carriers and stakeholders in the security supply chain to continuously educate their aviation security control services.

On the one hand, we offer you the opportunity to take part in the frontal training (16h / 24h) in one of our branches on a monthly basis and on the other hand we offer the possibility to carry out the X-ray image evaluation in a secure online portal with the help of our ORS Online.

The further training courses are officially certified, implemented by certified trainers and certified after the training.
